《专业英语》课程既为学生继续英语学习并同时接受专业训练提供资助。通过本课程的学习,要求学生既要掌握专业英语开端的“读写听”(“说”也有练习的时机)能力,同时牢固学过的专业知识,学习一些新的情况工程知识。本课程教学接纳 “交流-互动”的教学模式,引导学生将英语学习和专业学习有机地结合起来,锻炼学生理解英文文献、正确翻译文献以及开端专业英语写作的能力。
本課程可以使學生掌握專業詞彙、專業知識的英文表達,培養學生翻譯外文資料的能力,爲以後進一步學習,和查閱相關外文資料打下堅實的基礎,促進其它課程的學習。
創造一種活躍的、相助學習的氣氛,嘗試“交流-互動”的教學模式,使學生在聽力、閱讀理解、翻譯和寫作能力方面都有一定提高。
